Sciopero (Strike)
Strike born from an amateur video shot in 1972 in Milan to document the struggle of the workers of the factory Bombelli, the second factory to be occupied in those years after the Pirelli in Milan belt. From a shot of several hours, came out this video. There are four sequences: the food (eating a lot and contracting), money (Solidarity), sleep (in the tents of the pickets at the gates of the factory) and then finally the wall with some workers that climb over and prepare to go to manifest in the city, perhaps it is the most significant because it indicates the beginning of the end of the Fordist factory. Certainly it is no celebration of victory or defeat because if a part describes the output from the factory and the conquest of joyful and liberating the city center, the other part is the dissemination of the factory that actually does not disappear but as a flussoi expands, fades in the territory, between roads and inside the houses, giving shape to the integrated post-Fordist. Are the relations, is the language, are the bodies desiring, exactly those bodies desiring – machines that Deleuze escaped to the factory, the new materials of the production.
